The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional website office focused on service the area daily. The assistance issue made for intervention activities a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all clients and increase use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
